Most of my photos this week were from Lucy’s birthday celebration, but here are a few additional photos from the rest of the week.

First, a couple of pictures from the bedtime routine:

Lucy fresh out of the tub.

Blow drying Claire’s hair. (I blow dry the girls’ hair after every bath… even in the middle of summer in a house with no central air. I’m not sure if this is normal or not.)

We introduced the girls to artichokes for the first time this week. 1 out of 3 liked them. I consider that a success.

On Wednesday, Lucy’s actual birthday, we went out for ice cream. In honor of the occasion, we actually bought Lucy her own cup. Usually she just shares with Mom or Dad.

Just Claire being cute.

And finally, a favorite iPhone photo from the week of Claire and Lucy at the playground. It should be noted that Claire took the initiative to pick out Lucy’s outfit for the day and got her dressed all by herself. Color me impressed.

Your girls are such dolls! Can you link me to where you buy their hair bows? They have the sweetest bows. 🙂
p.s. I’m glad I’m not the only blow drying mama!

Glad to know I’m not the only one blow-drying their girl’s hair every single time!

I have never tried artichokes before. How do they taste like? It’s good that at least one girl of yours liked it. I so know the pain of introducing a new food…
I’m always in awe about your photos, Jennifer. What kind of lens do you use? Your house always seems so bright. Maybe it’s the terrible gray weather over here but it’s dark in our house all the time.
And thank you for the link to your goodreads. I peeked there few months ago already and got some great tips for books 😉 I added mine on my blog as well but it needs some updates for sure.
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
